A meeting was held on April 12, 2011 to vote on a Special Assessment dues increase to cover landscaping needs for the burm areas along 127th street and Switzer street. Owner representatives from 21 homes in the Association were in attendance. After considerable explanation and discussion, a motion was made by Paul Goetzman (second Richard Barrett) to "vote to increase dues for a special assessment of $250.00 for two years only in order to cover the cost of planting trees and grass during the Fall of 2012. Before we move forward, the landscape committee will present several detailed options of varying dollar amounts to be voted on before purchasing begins. If it is determined that the project cannot be sucessfully completed, the amount of the special assessment will be returned to the homeowners."
Special Assessment Invoices will be sent to homes in May, payable by July 1, 2011.
A vote was taken, and the final vote was Ayes: 19, Nays 2. Motion passed.
Detailed minutes of the November Annual Meeting, and the Special Assessment Meeting will be posted to the website soon.
